MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONALS
Joint Programme of KSCAA with IIMB / NSRCEL
A Unique Programme for members to enhance their skills in Management Consulting

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) continues to create benchmarks in management education by constant innovation and cutting-edge programmes. As a result, the institute has been adjudged the best Business School in India for two years running. Asia Week in its survey conducted amongst all business schools over Asia and Australia ranked IIMB's Executive Education amongst the Top Eight - the only Indian Business School to be so ranked in this survey. The Wall Street Journal Guide to the Top Business Schools 2003 lists IIMB amongst the top 100 business schools in the world. IIMB is the only management school from Asia to figure in this list. With a view to provide a stimulating learning environment, the IIMB campus is located in 100 acres of sylvan surroundings on the outskirts of Bangalore. The all-stone buildings, surrounded by verdant and lush woods make for a perfect setting for learning. The infrastructure in terms of classrooms, computer facilities and library are unmatched in this part of the world.

The Nadathur S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) has been set up at IIMB to encourage entrepreneurs in carefully defining the opportunities they perceive and help them access the resources they require, to convert their dreams to reality. NSRCEL through IIMB, in this programme, offers Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants and Company Secretaries, an opportunity to broaden their perspectives by creating an awareness of the advanced techniques and best practices for operating and succeeding in a global business scenario. The programme will seek to impart to participants the formal management thought processes, techniques and skills, suitably conditioned for application in a global context.

KSCAA is a state body, registered in 1957 under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, with the objective of promoting the interests of its members, to better equip them to discharge their professional obligations. The association is interested in spreading knowledge in the area of accountancy, finance and management, areas of professional interest to Chartered Accountants. With this in mind, KSCAA has approached NSRCEL/IIMB to conduct a program for its members.
